Installation and Warranty

Lunmar Boat Lifts provides and administers manufacturer warranties only. Warranty coverage and duration vary by product and manufacturer. For Lunmar-manufactured boat lifts, coverage is as follows:

  • Structural components: 2 years from the date of purchase

  • Motor / power unit: 1 year from the date of purchase

All products must be installed by a qualified installer and in accordance with manufacturer instructions. Improper installation, misuse, or failure to follow installation and maintenance guidelines may void warranty coverage. Lunmar does not pay for any labor, shipping, or other costs incurred as a result of a warranty claim.


Warranty Limitations / Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lunmar disclaims all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Lunmar is not responsible for incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use, installation, or failure of any product, including property damage, loss of use, downtime, or lost profits. Lunmar’s liability for any claim is limited to the purchase price paid for the specific item giving rise to the claim.


All warranty claims are subject to the following conditions:

• The customer must contact Lunmar to obtain authorization before beginning a warranty claim and to verify eligibility. Lunmar and its vendors do not accept returned products without the appropriate paperwork and authorization in place.
• Lunmar Boat Lifts does not provide any warranty on products not manufactured by Lunmar Boat Lifts. Those items are covered only by their respective manufacturers and/or vendors.
• Each warranty provider has its own procedures for filing claims and obtaining replacement parts. These procedures are not created by Lunmar and must be followed exactly for the claim to be valid.
• Warranty providers may require inspection of any item for which a claim is filed before approving repair or replacement. Replacement parts or compensation are not required until inspection is complete.
• Warranty resolution is limited to repair or replacement as determined by the manufacturer. No cash refunds or credits are issued under warranty.
• Lunmar does not provide compensation for shipping, labor, or any other costs incurred due to a warranty claim, defective items, or incorrect items.
• Customers are responsible for inspecting all shipments within 48 hours of receipt for damage or incorrect items. Returns may not be possible after this period.
Once installation has begun, no shortages will be replaced. Product must be checked for completeness before installation.
• Any alteration, tampering, removal, or defacing of serial numbers, rating labels, or manufacturer identification voids warranty coverage.
Cables / wire rope are excluded from warranty coverage because they are wear items subject to corrosion, stretching, and usage conditions beyond our control.
• Warranties do not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, overloading, negligence, accident/impact, corrosion, lack of maintenance, unauthorized modification, or acts of nature.
