Product Description
The splice plate is used to splice lumber together. You can splice two 8' sections of 2x8 lumber together and make a 16' piece. This piece of hardware comes in handy when you can't transport or even find a piece of lumber in the right length. Use 1/2" carriage bolts for assembly. Comes in a set of two plates. 
This hardware is made of 1/4" thick steel, 5" tall, and all pins use 3/4" diameter pins. Use 1/2" carriage bolts for assembly.  All steel hardware is HOT DIPPED GALVANIZED after fabrication.
